2nd Call for Papers (Deadline Extended: 31/3/2022) and new Special Issues

Dear colleague,

 

We cordially invite you to submit a paper to the 1st International Conference of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics (1st ICONSD 2022) which will be held between the 27^th and 29^th of May 2022 in Thessaloniki. The conference is co-organized by the Department of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics of the International Hellenic University and the Association of Dietitians - Nutritionists of Greece.



The Scientific Committee of the 1st ICONSD would like to invite authors to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation, related, but not restricted, to the conference’s topics, such as Nutrition and health / Biodiversity, Environment, Climate / Public Health, Economy and Food supply / Social values of foods and nutrition / Eco-friendly, local, seasonal foods / Accessibility and others



Indexed conference proceedings

All accepted abstracts will be published in the 1^st ICONSD conference proceedings and will be individually indexed online by academic search engines.

Special Issues

• The 1^st ICONSD conference is linked to a new Special Issue: “Sustainable Nutrition - Healthy People” in Nutrients (MDPI, IF 5.719) with Special Guest Editors Dr. Emilia Vassilopoulou, Dr. Ioannis Pagkalos and Prof. Dr. Maria Hassapidou (Submission Deadline: 20/9/2022). All abstracts presented in the conference (oral or poster presentation) will be evaluated and the winner of the conference’s best presentation award will receive a full fee waiver to publish their full manuscript.  Any other conference participants will be offered a 15% discount if they wish to submit their manuscript to this Special Issue.
• Diseases (MDPI) is launching a Special Issue entitled “The Relationship between Nutrition and Diseases” with Special Guest Editors Prof. Marwan El Ghoch and Dr. Agnes Ayton (Submission Deadline: 31 July 2022). All ICONSD registered participants who submit manuscripts to this issue will receive a full fee waiver, for submissions before 31/5/2022, or a 50% discount, for submissions before 30/6/2022.
